Everyone, I put a prefit shilen for nss on my savage benchrest 6br. It is a 8twist, but didn’t have enough freebore to seat 105s. A friend of mine who has done all of this many times helped hand ream it to accept the 105/108s. I tested 108 bergers and it shoots amazing, in the .2s and runs and cycles perfect. BUT, after inspecting my once fired brass which has only been shot in this barrel I noticed a mark on basically every piece of brass. It’s indicated in the middle of the shoulder and if you run your nail over it can just barley feel it.
So my question is. Can/how to fix this, it is even an issue, and what could have caused it.
