Installing a prefit on a Howa

BIL has a prefit ordered for a Howa action. Has a gng gage. To me it seems like "camming" of the bolt occurs at the start of closing the bolt. This appears different from a R700 or Savage M12(our prefit experience so far). How should I use the go no go gages for the Howa action? He has another Howa same caliber, would like the fired brass to be close(same HS) so sizing die can be set and used for both sets of brass.

I re-barreled a Howa using a prefit Preferred Barrel with the nut. It really make it easy to set up and adjust to the exact HS . I rented the Go/noGo guages. IMO, if you are trying to set the HS as exactly the same as possible for both chambers, the nut makes it doable.
BTW, extremely accurate barrel.

You really need to pull the firing pin and ejector to get the best results when headspacing.

I just rebarreled a Howa yesterday, though it was a shouldered barrel.
