Prefit barrels

I have one in .243 Winchester. It's for steel shooting. I developed a .5MOA load (5) shots at 100. It shoots good and I believe I could have made it shoot a little tighter. For my needs with this barrel .5MOA was good enough. It cleans pretty easily but if I only run a wet patch down it about every 50 rounds or so by 200 rounds it's ready for a good cleaning. After the first 1000-1100 rounds it dropped 40 fps with the same jug of powder.

I'm happy with it.

I talked with some guys that had X cailber barrels. They said they shot good but I personally cannot say because I've never owned one. If the price gets right on a barrel I want I will be able to tell you how they shoot. These guys owned barrels for an AR not a bolt gun.

I've been happy with about 10 of them. Usually buy contoured blanks. Any problems have been addressed without denial or pain (nobody's perfect).

Never been a better time to buy barrels or bullets, quality has gone up across the board in the last 20 years.

Heck of a deal with 25% off. I have a 6br Criterion coming from James. If I didn't I'd be all over this. I just priced what I would like. $322.50 shipped for a 28", s.s. matte, 5/8x24 threaded muzzle, sendaro contour.
