Preferred primer & brass 308W SRP Palma

Let's start with primer : Rem 7 1/2 , CCI 450 or Milspec # 41 ?
Brass : ADG , Alpha , Peterson , Starline or Lapua ?
As I understand the Lapua won't be produced for some time due to Ukraine . Midsouth still has some @ $ 113 a C . Starline is the cheapest .

Have been shooting "F"- Class TR with a Kelby Panda .308 for about five years now and use these components .
Barrel : Kreiger , Brux , and Bartlein
Brass : Lapua Palma
Primer : Rem 7 1/2BR
Bullet : Berger , 185 Juggernaut Target , 200.20x
Powders ? The list is long , but also seems to be a regional issue . Currently using VV-N150 . Have used 4064 , 4895 , Varget , and even tried some VV N-530 .

As usual one supposes the Lapua brass is what most use . From the flame test I saw posted the Rem 7 1/2's are robust with a large flamefront . With a small primer figured it best to go with extruded powder . Even with LP cases not many use ball powders for 308 match loads , exceptions being TAC & WCC 846 / BL-C(2) . Have both flavors 4895 , 4064 , Varget , N-150 & even some TAC & WCC846 to test .

I use Alpha SRP with a CCI 450 and IMR 4064. In my Grendel I thought the CCI 400s were more accurate but the above combination shot so well out of the hole I never changed. Of course it’s like I told someone this morning, I think you could load a 308 with rocks and it would still group good.

I strongly suggest you buy that Lapua Palma brass before it is gone. There is simply no telling when you might see it next, regardless of Lapua's recent announcement that they plan to start producing it again this year. With respect to which primers might work best, that is really going to depend on the loads you plan to work up. With F-TR loads using the 200.20X bullet over Varget, I have had by far the best results using Fed 205s or Fed205Ms.

The Starline .308win small primer brass has worked well for me. I have been using cci450’s.

Not competing with this rifle, but I have no complains about the brass for target and hunting uses.

I buy Peterson Brass and use CCI 450 primers. It is good brass and available most of the time. Really don't see any difference in that and Laupua brass

I’ve been playing with some Starline 308 brass and it has shot good at a 1K, I have yet to actually get serious with it and test SDs and ESs on it, I just used the same load as my Lapua brass.. it does really well in the 223, so good that I have 1500 cases on the shelf and no I don’t wanna sell it..lol!

I have nothing but good to say about Starline 308 Match brass. I also weight sorted their 223 brass against Lapua brass and it had half the dispersion of Lapua. Just because it doesn't say Lapua on the box doesn't mean it isn't good.

Starline is good brass. I use it in my 6.5CR and Grendel as well as about 250 pieces of 270 that I’m going to convert to 280AI if my Peterson ever wears out. It is extremely consistent. The only reason i went with Aloha for my 308 is they didn’t have SRP available when I needed it.
