I had this built at Gila River Gunworks in Yuma in 92.
I went with a non standard cartridge for BR the 270 Win because I WANTED TO.
Early 200,000 serial numbered action which puts it at 1950. Walnut stock and old school beautiful bluing and a 26 in, 1.2 at muzzle Lothar Walther barrel.
Long before I had a Seb rest or a decent rear bag or Bix n Andy this was shot with an old Bulls Bag for front and socks with beans for rear.
Super accurate with 4831 and sierra 135 hpbt. This was long before I knew anything about Bergers.
Hasn't been shot since 2003 but pulled and cleaned yearly. Group pics included. I shot a housefly on the target at 100 yds (splatter everywhere) and Mike posted that target in his shop I think until he left Yuma.
Less than 400 rds fired, I stopped shooting it when my pop left the range 22 yrs ago.
13 & 1/2 in LOP.
Of late I was going to turn it into Stephen Hunters Tenth Black King but it looks like I won't get around to that so here it is.
Your FFL MUST accept from an individual. I won't ship other wise. If you're within a couple hrs of Yuma like Phx or Tucson I could meet for ftf.
