Pre 64 30-06 palma setup

Pre 64 Winchester model 70 30-06. Not an original barrel, but its 30-06. Has the handstop, rail, etc. Redford palma rear sight.

I'll be honest here, I don't know much on these, the last one I sold there were a lot of questions on but pad, guys looking for whatever to make it legit for whatever match they were intended to shoot. If im way off base, missing something here, help me out.

The only Mod 70s that I am aware of are Post 64 push feeds 1968, 1972, 1976 At one time 30-06 was allowed for the Palma match at Camp Perry It had been changed to 308 and 223

I don't exactly know what price. I would be negotiable. My only guess is the rifle is say $1300 to $1800, or am I off base? The sights are they $200 or $400? It takes $100 cumulative for a $25 cheap plastic hard case, shipping a d insurance . Does that make this $1300 deal or is $2250 a decent deal or far to much? If it's send it to gun broker is is $1200 or $2500$ depends on the day. It's for sale, it doesn't need to get sold. I should just sell some stuff out of the safe to purge a little. I'll list some other ones for sale and if one sells, I'll keep the other. I'd love to shoot them, travel to matches, but the reality is they sit here, I shoot and travel to other stuff and work the rest of the time.
