Prayers Needed for My Uncle, WWII Vet

My uncle, who is a 90-year-old WWII Navy Vet, had a terrible accident yesterday. He was working with a power lathe in his workshop and severed his arm near the elbow. We don't know exactly what happened, but my uncle has been using this machine for over 30 years. Efforts to reattach the arm have failed. The doctors had to amputate at the elbow.

The man is the most honorable and hard-working man I've ever known. It is devastating news for the family.

This is going to be a tough recovery at his age... so your prayers can help.

My uncle's name is: Edward.

The good news is that he is progressing OK. Apparently the hand was so mangled re-attachment was out of the question.

I just learned that in the shop he applied a tourniquet himself with his good arm.
