Just found out this morning that Tony Boyer has got Covid. Of course he refuses to seek medical help. Anyone that know him knows that he is pigheaded. Wish him well that's all I can say.

Prayers all goes well. My mother in law just got over it. She's just in very poor overall health and has been for some time. They did get her started on the anti-viral meds and whatever else early on but she's done great and looks like she'll be just fine. My biggest concern with her was some mental stuff. She didn't seem right at all for a few days but that seems to have cleared up for the most part as well. It can still kill people but this latest strain, along with better treatment now, seems to have made it a lot less scary. I still don't want any part of it but we'll all probably wind up getting it sooner or later, like the flu. Again, tell him we're all praying for him to get well fast!--M

Please see the Tony gets the following piece of advice.
I contracted Covid a year ago, and because of my bull headed attitude, it nearly killed me. I.e Temp 103.5* oxygen content 78%. When I came to grips that I couldn't outlast it, I went to the ER and the attending nurse practitioner made the comment that dead people have a higher oxygen content that I did! Bottom line, I missed 3 weeks of work and was on 2 liters of oxygen for several weeks.
You are in my prayers, but please don't put off seeking medical attention.

I've had it 3 times. Went from,durn near kilt me (1st)to..... dang,not this again. Then the last was wifey got it whilst I was out of town working on the youngest son's house...

After staying an extra 2 days at his place finally had to come home. This was her 1st bout. So on her 3rd day,I get home and swear.... never got closer than say 10' from her.

Within ONE hour,had it again... duh. Longterm effects run neck N neck with Lymes disease but so far the CZ(haha) isn't quite as bad long term as the tick.... phhhtt.

It's a weird one. I had it in the fall as did my whole household. But it wasn't that bad at all . We had all had far worse flu's.

It seems to affect everyone differently

Good luck and best wishes to Tony. Although I’ve never met him in person, the maturation I’ve taken over the past 5 years of competition shooting really started with three amazing people: Speedy, Bret Solomon and Tony Boyer. Tony’s book is literally never more than 10 feet from me. I have one copy on my reloading bench and another in my office bookshelf. I’m praying for you Tony and I know that you’ll beat this nasty Covid. Get better and keep inspiring ALL OF US to be better shooters.
