Prayers for David Tubb

It's my understanding that David had knee replacement surgery and now has contracted a staff infection. This isn't good, hopefully the antibiotics will work, but a little prayer won't hurt either.

Danny,

Old news - he's doing well enough to have sent a post to this board last week.

He's at home now, and scheduled for follow-up surgery at the end of this month.

I suspect good wishes and prayers would be appreciated though.

That's great news! A friend of my inlaws had the same surgery. She also contracted a staff infection. Despite all efforts and antibiotics she didn't make it. Glad to hear David is one of the lucky ones.

Sadly what danny has said is more common than the medicos let on.

all operations involve risk these days.

I'm going under the knife monday- not looking foward to it.

I believe it is a staph, not staff, infection. As in staphilococcus bacterium.
