Is Practice Score refunding monies that were paid prior to all this madness, or are they banking it for when things return to normal.

I used PractiScore to register a match and it’s not up to them as far as I know. It’s up to the match director from what I’ve seen. I had people cancel my event (same as if I canceled the match) and I was able to refund them but I can’t remember if I refunded out of PS or directly from my payment service??

Seems like a question you should ask Practiscore instead.
What form of payment did you use BTW?
If a CC would you not be able to dispute of cancel the charge?
All questions from someone who has never paid a match fee thru Practiscore.

The refunds are done through Stripe which is the online software platform that Practiscore uses.

I have been seeing a few of the PRS-type matches where they've been cancelled, but the MD had already spent the majority of the funds - those big prize tables aren't all donations, ya know - and that does leave a bit of a sticky situation. Most are scrambling, and either rescheduling later in the year, hoping this blows over soon, or offering credit towards future events. Luckily most of the prizes aren't going to go bad between now and whenever, though they may no longer be the latest hotness that they are this month/year.

Any match I have entered through practiscore was refunded pretty promptly by the match directors through practiscore if I needed to cancel.
