Praise for Leupold

I have always used and thought very highly of Leupold products and have never had need to return anything. I had a pair of 10 x 42 binoculars that I was very happy with. I loaned them to a friend and his Mastiff decided to chew on them. The rubber cups that screw in and out were destroyed and there were some bite marks on the body. He sent them back to Leupold hoping they would be able to repair them. We were surprised when the package arrived with a brand new pair. This contrasts to my $270.00 pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses that my Lab chewed on. They charged me $160.00 for repairs which I thought was pretty c s considering the cost of the glasses. I give high marks to Leupold for their quality and customer service.

I have had "more than a few" Leupolds go back in for repair. Having said that, they ALWAYS get my scopes back in less than a month from the time I send it in>>>AND it always comes back FIXED! Their warranty work is second to none! All companies should try to emulate Leupold in that regard!

And they provide this service even if the optic was purchased used. I once bought a used 6.5x20 scope. Sent it in for target knobs to be installed. They sent me a brand new scope, with a note saying the old scope had a bent tube. Charged me for the knobs only.
