I'm gong to be near Lubbock soon and would love to shoot some prairie dogs. Does anyone have a guide or contact that they recommend? TIA

Last trip through Lubbock there was one of the most loaded down dog towns I've ever seen right in the city.
I used to shoot in that area with a great guide but he got transferred out of state a few years ago.
Many have used Texas Prairie Dog Safaris out of Idalou, TX but I would check them out before committing (I have heard a few negatives about them).
Check a few ranchers out at the local breakfast restaurants. Crosbyton, Idalou and Dickens to the east or Levelland to the west.
