I used to be real bad at off hand with a rifle until a top level pistol shooter was watching me shooting my 40 s&w M&P at the range and decided to give me a few tips on how to bring your sight picture and sights together at the same time. these tips were invalueable to me and I have been able to use the same technics for rifle off hand to greatly improve. So my tip is to find someone local to you whom is really good offhand (they are usually on the older side) ask for a bit advice, it will be well worth it
