Practice ammo VS Carry ammo

The 357 Sig offers the same surprises the first time it's fired after shooting any 9mm pistol. The muzzle blast is an eye opener, or closer if you're just a bystander!

If you watch you tube gun review videos you'll notice a lot of these guys reveal a certain element of surprise at the first shot. They jump a little bit and then compose themselves for the next shots.

I can relate. The 1st time I fired "carry" ammo out of the 10mm it was very different from the ball ammo...caught me off guard.

Yeah, let one go without hearing protection. Because who needs their hearing anyway. There are still 4 other senses left. Tinnitus is no fun, none at all, and it only takes one if it's the wrong one.

I have found that when I reload for the .40 I can make soft recoil loads with HP38 and snappy recoil loads that mimic self defense loads with Longshot. Works for me.

Since I have a Drop-In 9mm Barrel and the proper magazines for my G22 ; It allows me to get both ammo's if and when "need be" would be required . I load both cartridges with Red Dot , at the proper levels to accomplish my desired goals , while putting a XTP of different weights in front of the load . Recoil is reasonable , for me . But then it's my pistol , and I don't share .
