Has anyone tried this powder in the Dasher/6BRX/DX before with 103-108 grain bullets? what was your results? Thanks in advance for any answers

I like it in the 223 and 308 with heavy bullets, fine powder, meters well leaving a lot of free case volume. Still to try it in the brx, soon I hope.

I like it in 308 Win using 175 & 185 gr bullets. No loads in brx since I only shoot 308 but PP2000MR is what I'll be using this year/season.

I bought an 8lb jug several months ago to try in several different rifles, including 223 AI & 7mm-08 Imp. Have yet to get anywhere close to max in the 7mm, but have found some pretty good loads with Berger's 90gr LR BTs & VLDs in the 223 AI. Not getting quite as much velocity with the 90s as with N550, but have shot a couple of 5.5"-6" 5-shot groups with both LR BTs & VLDs at 1000yds, running them at 2830fps. Rifle is built around a trued M700, 26"Krieger sendero 1:7tw in a McM A5 stock, Jewell HVR, RD M5 DM BM, EGW 20 MOA sloped base, and a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50.

Looking forward to the end of this crazy shortage so I can purchase another jug of this powder.

I did some testing in the 6brx with 115 DTACs today. I started at 34.0gr, stopped at 36.0, slightly heavier bolt lift, very light ejector marks, normal looking primers/cci#400/. The velocity gain of the 36.0 was less than 20 fps over the 35.5, which was 3010 fps.

That must be a nearly full case in the 6brx isn't it? Velocity is up there I like the 105's to run about 3030 for the accuracy node so I sure would like to try some I can get it pretty cheap.

The 2000MR is a very fine spherical powder, so the case is kind of full, but far from compressed. col is 2.395.

I am currently shooting 6brx, 105 hybrids and 33.5 grains of Varget bullets .012 off lands 450 primers but also have a lot of 105 VLD's and H-4895 with 400 primer and it shoots that combo very well also.

I started using it first in a .308 then in my 260ai. With 140 amax's and Win. brass I'm using 43g to get right around 2900fps.

I loaded some 87hpbt's,cci 450's in my BRX and was able to go all the way to 37.5g before I stopped, I believe it could handle more. I'm limited with a 12 twist. I had also loaded some in a 6br with 105 amax's some time ago,but just worked up to find a max and never chrono'd those.

If the weather gets better this week i'll load a few more in the BRX and get a velocity.

It meters really well and burn very clean in my 260ai.

I was considering trying H-4895 in a 6 Improved, also putting together a .223 in the near future and was considering the 2000 MR for it. Now I can possibly try these two powders in both.

I sure appreciate all the input, I bought 16lbs of it so I hope it shoot good in something and based on what I have read I don't think as many different rifles that I own that it won't shoot great in something, I have a factory Tikka T3 light in 7mm-08 that I like almost as well as many of my customs and I just about bet that it will work great in it if nothing else but I really want to try it in my 6brx and 6brdx here in the near future. I will come back to this thread or start a new one and state my findings with it,....thanks again.

Been using it for a while in my 308 match gun with 185s and 200s and having good results, never tried it in other calibers but don't see why it wouldn't work well.
