^^^^^^^^ ThisI envision worse things than just a powder shortage in 2024. I am praying I am wrong.
Holy crap...I'd just stop reloading at that point. A tray of 100 is about 8-10 bucks here.Still consider yourselves lucky... I'm in Canada and Primers don't exist. if they do, people are asking over $ 100 for a sleeve of a 100 primers.
I've seen them as high as $ 250 for a sleeve of 100 primers.
I bought thousands of primers several years ago when they were still cheap. So I'm using them up as we speak. I bought lots of bricks S&B at $33/brick,... and 210m/215m for $ 50/brick. Hence why I'm still reloading.Holy crap...I'd just stop reloading at that point. A sleeve tray of 100 is about 8-10 bucks here.
I just saw BR-2‘s for $16 a sleeve…..at my local ace hardware yesterday….Holy crap...I'd just stop reloading at that point. A tray of 100 is about 8-10 bucks here.

I still have lots of out of production projectiles like the 105 A-max.... I have several boxes of Hornady BTHP Match I got for $ 24 per box. and 1,000 Sierra 210 SMK I got for $300 years go. and so on.
just so you know Br-2’s are std large rifle primers that are more consistent when testing but all the components are the same. Br4’s however are different than 400’s and 450’sI just saw BR-2‘s for $16 a sleeve…..at my local ace hardware yesterday….
and reloader 16 for $500 for an 8lb jug, retumbo was $399 for an 8lb jug……..
I can’t answer that anymore, I left there in 15, at the time I had the prints for all the primers, I believe the cups and anvils were the same as 450’s but the priming mix was different but don’t quote me on that. I still have friends out there, it’s not open information but I might be able to get it.Wayne, how is the BR'4's different from the 400's and 450"s?
We've heard the BR'2 are the same as 200's just with more eye's or better
inspection.
Is the mix on the BR'4's different and how?
The 400's cups are thinner than the other 2
Same here in Australia. The only reason I reload now is to get the ammo I want. Factory ammo in many cases is now cheaper. When I've burnt through all my small pistol primers I'll be shooting factory only. Can't get pistol powder anyway.Still consider yourselves lucky...
