Powder recommendation

I just aquired a 6mmBR with a 20" 1-14" twist barrel and plan on shooting 55-70gr bullets at targets mainly out to 600yds.
What powder,s) would you recommend to start with?
TIA,
Wayne aka WAMBO

You'll find a full page of loads for the lighter bullets here:

Also check out our reloading page: http://www.6mmbr.com/reloading.html

You'll get many opinions but H322 and N135 are good places to start with the 65-75 grain bullets. AA2230 is also a very economical powder that meters very well--even in progressive reloading machines.

Moderator,
Thank you for your reply.
I checked out the reloading pages and didn't find any loads for a 1-14 twist with a short barrel.
I did find the thread about the 6BR with a 20" tube and that confirms your H322 recommendation.
Thanks again,
Wayne aka WAMBO

I had a 1978-ish Remington 40XBR in 6mm BR Remington with the 20" barrel and short neck that shot 2015 and AA2230 extremely well with 68-79gr bullets.
