Powder recommendation for 10.5" AR15 Pistol Cal. 223/556 Loading Hornady 68gr BTHP

I just purchased a 10.5" 223/556 rifle cal. AR pistol. I have several hundred Hornady 68gr BTHP bullets on hand. Loading for self-defense. I am looking for Powder suggestions since I have never loaded for a short barrel rifle before.

From a theoretical standpoint, I suggest you look at faster burning powders such as: H322, Benchmark, H335, and AA2230.

What powders do you have or can you obtain?

When i tried those bullets out i got good groups with cfe223.

I do have H322. That makes sense. I will have to look up burn rates for the powders I currently have. Thanks
