Powder Price Jump?

Are all powders going to take a sudden price increase? I noticed Third Generation has gone up 32 percent or so in the last few days on eight pounders of Hodgdon and IMR.

32% seems more like a gouge!
Well on one hand, they were that much cheaper than places like Brownell’s!
May be a if the other guy is getting it, so can I.
Maybe my math was off just a little, more like 26 percent or so increase, Sorry! I was not trying to stir the pot, just wanting to know if others thought this was headed our way from all suppliers.

Yeah, I used to my pay $10/lb. Just bought some 4064 from Powder Valley for around $23/lb. Then add hazmat and.shipping. Still glad to get it.

Stock Pile !
I was in our local Sportsman's Warehouse today. The Reloading shelves almost empty.
There was 5 boxes of Primers 1000 ea.
A man walked up and took them all ?

Alway's check Powder Valley first. I'm stocked up, but did
need to get an 8 lb jug of Staball for testing. $185 a jug,
and lots of it in stock. What I seen was a slight increase in
powders across the board. Typical I guess for the times.

When I first started competitive shooting in 2013 with my 30BR H4198 was going for 127.00 for an 8Lb container. Last year PV was selling it for around 194. I just checked their price yesterday and now it's up to 207. Mark my words, by this time next year it will be close to 220.

I have noticed the Vihtavuori powders have remained pretty much the same prices over the last couple years. Now, Alliant and Hodgdon have caught up with
the 100 series VV powder prices, and the 500 series are just a bit more (still). Shooters World is still in the 150-160ish range for an 8 lb. jug.
All I care about is what I can buy without having to hoard 80 lbs. at a time (I'm looking at you Varget and H4350 )

Don't forget to add H4895 to that list . Grafs has Accurate 4350 and 4064 back on the shelf , for now .

A couple weeks ago I bought CCI BR2 primers at $4.15 per hundred. Felt like a fleecing but got them anyway. Now they’re over $7.00

Scored another 8 lb jug of Varget today at a LGS. 254.39 with tax
