Powder measure stand clamp-on style with heavy base

Hello all,

I am looking for a powder measure stand for Clamp On type powder measures (ie Lyman 55 harrel's etc) that has a heavy stand and not a clamp (like Sinclair or Harrel)

Youd have to make something like that. I have never seen one that would be sturdy enough- it would weigh 50lbs to sit still to cut kernels. Pma makes a very nice clamp on which i recommend

Can you weld? Two 1.5 inch lengths of 4 inch angle welded back to back.

I don’t like using clamps; I’d rather drill a hole on the stand and bolt it down. When you don’t se what you like you just have to use your imagination. There are as many solutions as there are bench rest shooters.57987673-168D-4E6C-9282-73B8F4D94F7E.jpeg

No sadly I don’t have access to a full blown shop to weld though I can have it done but I think it’s overdoing it ... I can make one from something like you showed and a board
