Powder in Little Rock, AR

Here is something I haven't seen in a while.



If you live in the Little Rock, Arkansas area, Ft. Thompson Sporting Goods is loaded with powder at decent prices($24.99 per lb). They have Varget, h4381SC, H4350, H4895, H4198, and lots more. They have a good number of 8lbs can of H4831SC, Benchmark, H322, 800X etc..

Happy Shooting...I bought enough Varget to last for a while:0) ;D

WOW.....Haven't seen a sight like that in quite some time. Maybe the supply line is slowly opening up! Would love to find some H1000 in the Fargo- Minneapolis area or anywhere in between !! Will be trying 7828ssc as an alternative for my 6SLR. Eric in DL

They have every single(I can't think of one that they didn't) Hodgdon Rilfe powder in stock, plus most IMR ,and a lot of Winchester..The only thing that I noticed missing was pistol powders.

Check Runnings or Mills Fleet Farm. I've picked up H 1000, Varget, and 8208 XBR at both places (Runnings is a bit higher priced $26-$29 lb but it's in town). H-4831, H-4350 along with the IMR varieties of each along with IMR 4320, 700X has been on the shelves EVERY time I've been in there (Runnings at least) over the last 3-4 weeks. I haven't BOUGHT every time but I do check.

Holy smokeless batman ! That's a jackpot of gold delivery ! I'm very curious how Thompson Sporting Goods got so much powder all in one shipment ? ALL the LGS's in my area get small weekly deliveries basically of "whatever the mfg can send them". They do not know what brand, how much or when the powder will arrive. My LGS's will get 4 1# bottles of Varget one week, then 2 8# jugs of Benchmark the next, another week they might not see anything at all...

Generally speaking powder is available, you just have to have the open mind to experiment with different non-popular brands. If all you shoot is Varget or R15, forget it you're not going to be shooting much in my area.
