Powder Heat Index

Not to relate to published "burn rate" charts, as in fastest to slowest.

Lets use "ball or stick" powders for the examples. Is there are chart that would show "heat" from fastest to slowest?

Ball powder, by volume or equal volumes tested from one brand to another.

EX; 70 gr Retumbo against 70 gr Magpro... Which powder produces the most "heat"? Or, can it be stated simply that the faster powders produce the higher heat?

Gunamonth, you add the forgotten element. The unburned powder factor puts some heat outside the box that I was thinking in. Is there an expanded version of this Quickload component available or has it only been available in the program so far. In other words, did the programmer write it or did it come from a data base?

Very interesting info. Where does W-748 fall in the data.
It seems to burn cool in any rifle I try it in, just as advertised.

Thank you. Finally, if this is currently all that we have available would you consider the calculations accurate? This might be an unfair question based on what you have heard.
Its not a matter of life or death, heat is a problem with the cartridge that I plan on mastering. Im close to solving the problem with a longer neck. Until this longer neck becomes a reality powder selection will nurse it along.
