Labradar in the heat

Just wondering if direct sun and or heat affect the Labs? I have been getting duplicate velocitys with up to a .3 to .4 gr. difference in powder?

I've never questioned my LR's results and I've used it in direct sunlight and temps of 100 F +. I will say that those were very unpleasant shooting days and convinced me that covered ranges are worth every penny. You're results sound suspicious, though.

I've been on the line using my V3 with a LR next to me in 110 and the differences in velocity between the two weren't worth mentioning . Couple of FPS , shot to shot . As someone said , temperature changes in ammo as it may heat up can cause more of a change . Doesn't get much hotter than Ben Avery in August , and none of the guys here have ever mentioned this as a issue with a LR .
