Powder for Creedmore

The last I saw was h4350 for the 140 amax, and varget for the 123 amax factory ammunition. I believe they evven list the charges on the box.

Its not listed on the match ammo box. Just wondering if they happen to use something else? Thanks, Dennis

We will probably never really know the exact powder that hornady uses, but almost everyone that I know that shoots the 6.5 creedmoor and similar cartrdiges like the 260, 6.5x47L, etc are all using H4350.

41.5gr H4350 was what I remember them recommending on a box I had a while back. Don't know what it looks like now though

Figured that's what it is but when we pulled one apart to compare the powder to 4350 it had a slightly different color to it. Anyway thanks for the input. Dennis

It actually might be 100V hybrid when the powder shortage came I heard they had to switch to that or a version of it

HV100 is a completely different powder than H4350. HV100 is a grainy powder compared to H4350 which is a stick powder.

grainy??? 100V hybrid is a stick powder.

if you look closely OP, there is a small tiny looking hole in the center. Check the powder you pulled out of the factory round and see if it looks like this.
