Powder for 6gt ??

I had a 6GT built for a dedicated coyote rifle. It has a 20” heavy barrel and I plan to shoot 70grainers. All cold weather use

I see lots of suggestions for six GT but almost everybody is shooting 103 or 109 and match use. I’m looking for recommendations more aligned with my specific usage.

Varget, N150 and XBR 8208 are high on my list

If it will shoot XBR8208, would be my first choice. Probably the best powder I have ever used as far as temp sensitivity goes. Very little change, if any, at huge temperature swings. Plus, it shoots tiny little groups in my rifle. Definitely worth a try. Good luck.

Likely a really good fit for the GT and light bullets.

6gt in a 20" barrel and 70gr bullet I think N140 would be best, I believe the others mentioned would be a bit slow, maybe not a full propellant burn in 20" with that light of a bullet, in a 22" or 24" barrel probably fine. Also think CCI450 would be a good idea, second choice GM205M.
