Same here with the Chargemaster, I did reprogram it and it has improved the accuracy. I run a load on it, reweigh it on a separate digital scale (that reads to the hundredth) and trickle just a few (1 to 3) kernels of powder and also have a older RCBS 10-10 setup as an additional check. A little slower but, my ES & SD are excellentIMO, and my target tells me I am good. My Chargemaster is close to pushing 15 to 20 years old.Rbcs chargemaster has served me well for most of my needs. I've just started using a tuned beam scale for my SR benchrest stuff. For mid to long I'm still using the chargemaster as i couldn't see a measurable difference on target or in the SD or ES.
I've had excellent experience over decades with the Redding BR-30. You get get 55-60 grains to drop reliably. They make similar larger capacity units also.Well I'm tired of the Frankford arsenal intellidropper powder dispenser I have. I have two of them and both have there issues. Whats the next best thing ? Not sure i can swing the Autotrickler stuff currently
@Wingnut00I have a programmed Chargemaster for sale if interested. Much less than retail price and in great condition.
Starts beeping and going crazy its the second one i have had do this. Always been plugged straight into a outlet. Had another where the keypad quitWhat's your issues with your Intellidropper's?
My issue with mine is 2-3% overcharges with bigger stick powders and 0-1% with ball.
Other than that it rolls on and gives me low es and ds through my chronograph.
I've been running mine for 3 years with 1000's of rounds charged.
With this good of service from this unit it would be hard for me to switch to a Chargemaster.
I'm not saying I wouldn't, it would just be hard.
