Powder choice

I picked up a pound of VV n135, can I use this safely in my 14T 6BR and a 14T 22BR? I was looking for VV n133 but the store was out and the sales person assured me it could be used with the lighter bullets.
I did not see any mention of n135 in the new Berger reloading manual for the 60-68gr bullets for my 6BR or 40-52gr bullets for the 22BR. But I can use it on some of my other guns.

Go to google & type in Vihtavuori loading data and you can get into their loading center. They have data for the 6BR that I saw & they do use some 135.

To answer your question, N-135 can be used in both calibers. It is actually one of the preferred powders for both. I have shot it in several 6BR's with bullets from 68-90 grains with good results. I am also shooting it in a 22BR, 14 twist barrel. I am shooting 52 grain Fowler bullets and getting excellent accuracy and speed. Hope this helps.
