Powder Charge to Blow out Case to an Ackley

My 22-250AI is very accurate with the fire forming load. Plenty accurate to shoot Prairie Dogs with.

I worked up a fire forming load for my 260AI just like fully formed loads. I get maybe 95-98% formed and extremely good accuracy, without it being a hot load. I also do not load to jam, I will do seating depth testing while fire forming.

I resized Norma 7X57 brass to 6mm Remington (memory, notes at new home) then used about a 3/4 load from the manual and 87gr. V-Max. I shot a couple of .256 groups and a couple of .156 groups when reforming the case to 6mm A.I. So I'm saving my barrel, I'll shoot critters when forming the cases. The prairie dogs won't know.
