Powder At Cabela's

I stopped at the Delaware Cabela's store yesterday to meet up with a friend from the Williamsport School. Went into the store to see if they had a 42" .20 Claiber Dewey rod, which they did not, but did see quite a variety of powder available. Almost all of the rifle powders were 1 pounders, though there were 4 and 8 pounders for shotgun / pistol shooting. Prices were a lot higher than PowderValley, but if you need a small amount to tide you over, there is no sales tax in Delaware and if you pick some up, no freight or Hazmet, which can soften the blow.

My local always has a good selection.. On the cleaning rod if the price is the same at your local cabelas as mine I ordered my .20 rod shipped to my house from dewey cheaper.. For some reason they are proud of the .20 rod.. That also includes the adapter you will need to use it for .22 or to be able to use it with normal threaded brushes and jags... You will see what I mean on the dewey webpage, it's right under the click to add to cart...All cheaper shipped to my door by a few bucks..hope this helps..

The price for a 38" one was $49.95, but then it also included the Dewey Tube, which is $2.00 extra from them, but not included when I order it from MidwayUSA or Opticsplanet. Would have not minded paying the extra if they had had the 42", but I placed the order later in the day. $41.95 less 10% for a coupon I had and free shipping.

Great.. Iam talking about ordering direct from dewey though.. Free shipping is always great these days...

I know you were talking about ordering direct. I am not that far from them, but I think their prices are slightly higher and that they (rightfully) protect their dealers.

$34.50 direct from dewey.49.95 from cabelas. That's why I said I was able to get everything shipped to my door for less. Including the adapter..
