rimfire ammo at Cabela's DE

Just a heads up for those in my area looking for .22 rimfire ammo. Was just at Cabela's at the Christiana store and they have a good supply of .22 rimfire ammo, 17hmr ammo and 17wsm ammo. Was a good selection of .22, high velocity, subsonic, eley, etc. Prices were, well you know Cabela's. Sierra bullets were 20% off too. Good Shopping!

Thanks for the heads up, BUT pardon me while I whine. Eley Tenex for $25 a box. Eley Match for $15! Wholly me and my big mouth"I'm not going to go cheap on ammo". I spent over $200 on samples of everything. I said a prayer and bought a brick of SK for a hundred, and felt cheap doing that. Yesterday, I took a kid shooting. He had a ball but he shot 6 boxes of ammo. Thankfully it was the cheap stuff. I'll be in the poor house with this "good stuff"!

I saw that Eley on the shelf. Unless I was in a match that paid BIG money, it'd be a real reach for me to pay that kind of cash for .22 rimfire ammo.

I figure: I got a new gun. Let's see what it can really do. Once in a while. If the good stuff shoots, I'll break it out for the Kid to use for a take home fridge hanger. I had some 10 year old American Eagle that printed some 3/4 inch groups at 50 yds. That's pretty good at 7 cents a round. That's what I'll use 90% of the time. Congrats on the hunting trip.
