Congratulations Jim Richards,..I have unofficially heard my friend Jim just shot a 2.6" 1000 yard 10 shot group in Missoula Montana a few minutes ago! If so sure wished I would have been there, I usually pull your target Jim. Have to wait for Tom Mousel and or Leo Anderson to officially announce it but I got it from a good source...WOW!!

Goodness! What else can you say about that group except F A N T A S T I C! Whether it is or isn't a new World's record doesn't detract from the notice that kinda shooting deserves. Words like "exceptional" come to mind and Jim Richards deserves recognition for some top notch shooting. Simply A W E S O M E. Well done Jim!

Sorry buddy, them damn smart phones try to out spell you, I fixed that, thanks for the catch!.. I might as well just stay home that won't be beat for a long time to come. I sure wished I would have came but my dad was having some health issues so I decided at the last minute to stick close, I did tell him about the new record it made his day as well. I got busy working the ranch, working with my mules and dogs and just haven't been on the forum much, sorry about that maybe I should come out here more. I was so excited when Lonnie told me, my first thoughts were to come on here and spread the word,...I am really happy for Jim, he has asked a 1000 questions, slept in his pickup, upgraded his equipment, bought a rifle from another friend of mine and now he is a world record holder, anyone can do this you just have to work at it and some days all the stars line up just right and you pull something off like this. The men and women that shoot at Deep creek in Missoula Montana are the best group of shooters in the world bar none! They will give you all the info you need to win and if you don't have what you need they will loan it to ya, up to and including a rifle and ammo Best of luck in the morning guy's
