Possible 40x new build 6mmdasher?

not familar with the dasher but read a lot here about it, question, -

for pd 95% of shooting, thinking of the 70gr sierra blitzkings, what twist with a 26" bbl and what velocity would you expect for an accurcy load, not necessaryly the hottest thing down the path but looking to shoot a 12-14# rifle from shooting bench out to 600+ yds as my 22-250 is great to that area and i am think of the heavier 6mm to reach further.

I know the 243 and 243AI are popular but i am not looking to burn that much powder and have that recoil/noise -Suggestion appreciated.

ok, i have read the stuff on the xc but the question is still unanswered, what velocity with a 26" tube and 70gr pills and still have accuracy.

That's the same bullet I'm running in two different 26" 14 twist Dashers.

Both are in the 3750 velocity range. I'm using AA-2230-C, which is an older surplus, pulled down powder not available any more, but is basically the same burn rate as AA-2460. H-322 or VV-133 works well with the 55-70 grainers also. You'll need to slow the powder down if you go any bigger on bullets.

Alf, you hit the nail on the head of what i was looking for, thank you, what brass are you using?

one further question, what bbl are you suing, i have always had good luck with Hart and work done by Bobby Hart of Nescopeck Pa, - I had given some consideration to the 12 twist in case i wanted to step to a higher weight bullet but do not really see a need.

You could do a 12 twist. I don't think you'd suffer any even if you did stick to only the the lighter weights.
