Hey guys I,m new here and I have a Ruger 300 SAUM I would like to have ported to help with muzzel jump. I need a GOOD gunsmith in the Columbus Ohio area, any suggestions ?

Install a weed burner,brake) instead of having the barrel ported.
The brake will reduce recoil also.
 
+1 on the brake over porting.
A good Harrells brake is priced at only $30.00 shipped.
Installment should run less than $75.00, but that will vary depending on the location.
