Dusty - Replacement bearing material can be had at any industrial supply house. The radial bearing can be made with either 1/16" thick Delrin or UHMW, warmed in hot water to facilitate bending to the inside radius of the barrel.
The bottom thrust bearing can be cut from the same materials, 3/8" thick, although the thrust bearing seldom wears out. I lube mine with Break Free, spins effortlessly, then wipe it all down with a paper towel when breaking down.
Seig - The bench shown in your post is not a Lite model, but the STD model of BRP. The Lite model employed machined alloy girder legs like your seat post. The STD model has legs made of .180" wall EW steel tubing.
No matter though, they both serve the same purpose, and it appears the young boys shown in your post are having a grand time of it. I love seeing them start out young...good job.
Our group high on a hill overlooking a vast alfalfa field recently. Add a sunshade, rifle and ammo, a field full of rats and good friends, and you've attained nirvana!
