Need some ideas!

I am losing my gun room to my second kid for a nursery. But all is not lost, i have this really cool three tier rolling cart. That will house my annealer, gracey neck/OAL trimmer and press.

I need a portable tool box for the rest of the little gizmos. looking for a multi level one to store powder, primers, bullets and all my other odd ball stuff.

And one got any suggestions?

Eric I bought this at Home Depot a couple weeks ago on an in store special for 198.00 to use in my taxidermy shop. I can mount two form stands on the wood top and have all the drawer space I need for tools. I imagine it would double as a portable reloading unit as well. Portable meaning mobile. Easily rolls wherever needed. It is fairly heavy but on hard surface flooring is a piece of cake to move. One day it will serve as a reloading bench I'm sure.

I think thats more my speed those JOBOX aresome pricey piece of furniture but they are bad ass.

Ill look into that looks to be a good solution.

Keep the idea coming guys.

If you have kids in the house i would make sure all of it can be locked. There may not be anything dangerouse but having things go missing just before a match is frustrating. Lol

I saw those plans on the articles might be the solution I am in search of

None of my stuff is going in the garage, deep south and humidity is a uphill battle. But I am going find a good solution to this problem. If not ill move to a bigger house.

I have seen reloading cabinets that look like a piece of fine furniture when closed up but open they are a reloading setup. Put them in the front room and wouldn't be out of place. You could have a cabinet maker make one. Cheaper than moving. What part of the house are you planning to put stuff in.

Some part of the living room/old dinning room. I have also seen a enclosed book case i am leaning towards that. I have to check around town to see the cost. But i have a bench that my record player and vinyl collection sits on. I might just make a cabinet underneath and take my items needed out. In stages rather than all at once.

Since you originally stated you wanted portable, I had left this out. I've been seriously considering something like an enclosed computer desk for my reloading setup. Something that could stay in the spare bedroom and look nice, too (rather than the actual bench I'm using now). Adding a door lock would be easy and a pretty good idea (actually, a very good idea). I just pulled this pic from Google, but had something like it in mind. Maybe something along these lines would work for you, also?

I also saw a 8 drawer tool chest on casters with a lockable drawer system. I thought of also adding a piece of wood. That would give a over hang to pull a chair up to and sit. Plus the wife can throw a table cloth on top when it needs to be hidden.

Give serious thought to where and how you store your powder.
