Pop heard while seating primers

I was seating some Tula primers in Speer .223 cases with the RCBS auto tool and I felt a pop at the end.

Three quarters of the way in it goes in smooth but when it bottoms out I feel the pop.

The primers seat ok and don't look crushed. The crimp was reamed out. Don't remember this with Winchester brass. This Speer brass seems to have tighter pockets even after the crimp has been removed. Curious as to the pop I feel but just in case I'm wearing my safety glasses (always do when priming) and not loading a lot of primers in the tube.

Title was wrong, should be felt and not heard. If I had heard the pop it would have been a load one and I'd have bigger problems :eek:!

Just did some Win white box brass, no pop, got to be a Speer thing.

I had a similar thing with some LC brass that was processed on a dillon and swaged the crimp. I ran them back over my CH4D pocket swager and it went away. I did manage to pop one off one evening while priming at the kitchen table. My dog didnt trust me working there for a while after that!
