I used to buy from these folks located in GA up until about 2 years ago, then the web site went dark. Now it has, for over a year, said new products coming. Well nothing yet. Do you know what happened to this outfit?

Did you look on the above website for their 16 gauge offerings? They have several options under search by gauge.

Yes but I'm really not setup to load 2.5" shotgun shells, and was just wondering what became of Polywad given their website says stay tuned and has for well over a year. Thanks for the suggestions.

I buy my short 16ga. shells from RST,

I was going to suggest RST or Westley Richards.
RST site says OUT OF STOCK, no back orders due to components unavailable.
Looked at Westley Richards, and no mention of ammo on site. Used to order from them out of Springfield MO, but now shows FL address and no website to that addy.
I can't remember for sure, but one of these two offerings had more recoil.
The PolyWad vintagers felt softer than the above when shot in my 5 1/3 lb hammer double.
I would hate to have the old girls stock cracked by a stout load.

I used the vintager and straight spread R shells in a 16 and a 12. They always worked fine except for a box of 20 ga I ordered several years ago for a friend in order to open up his tight SKB double. The shells wouldn't fit in his chamber, neither would they in mine. The short shell market must be minuscule so they are probably not paying any attention to it right now.
