Polishing a savage target action help

Is there anywhere that I can send my old savage target action ? I would like it to look similar . Any info would help

I had sharpshootersupply do mine for me. They did good work and at the time was happy with the service but have heard some horror stories. No issues with mine though. This was about 6 years ago

Sure. If you have patience. I’ve done 3 of mine.Starting with 320 and ending with 5000
Does it look like chrome? Not a chance. Way deeper. Skill level? Not much. Time? Have lots.
I screw a 4 inch barrel in the action so in a vice it goes. BTW all 3 shoot great. 6BR and 2 30 br’s

The target actions don't get the credit they deserve.

Is Savage still selling them as the PTA in the box?

If I could just find a "Jewel BR" type trigger for mine I would love it. After shooting a 2oz Jewel it was hard to go back to the Accutrigger.
