POI

I was trying new powder in my 308. . After I found the load for the powders. Both powders gave me roughly the same speed (20 FPS difference). Same length and weight for the round. Between the 2 there was 6in in vertical poi at 200yds. No change in horizontal and groups were tight. That much vertical is weird to me. I can see 1 to 2 inches.

It would help if you mentioned what bullet, what powders, and how much you used.

Which one do think the wind will have more affect on the lower or the upper poi?

If they are the same fps, the wind should effect them similarly. Don't worry about POI until you are done with the workup, then adjust your scope to POI where you want it and shoot at all ranges and record exterior ballistics.
