Are you shooting that same 30-06 from one of your other posts? I always liked the looks of laminated stocks like that. Is it free floated?
If so, and if you are in a high humidity climate, seasonal expansion and contraction of the wood will still happen even though it will happen more evenly than in a solid wood stock. Barrel channels are often not sealed as well as the outside and a change in moisture can move poi.
Having said that, chances are it’s scope related. The hardest issues to pin down are intermittent poi changes - I had a rifle that had small poi changes for years until a catastrophic scope failure.
