PMA or 21st Century?

I am going to buy a new neck turning tool. Have narrowed my choice down to either a PMA or 23st Century. Given the choice between these two-which wuld you pick?

I've only used K&M's and 21st century and the 21st century adjust easy and does produce a very good finish and is very accurate. The fit from the expander to the turning mandrel is perfect and they have a set up that lets you use a K&M carbide mandrel. It is a win,win with 21st century…….. jim

I have 3 PMA Model B neck turning outfits. All are caliber specific with the correct angle for case necks and preset by PMA. Take em out of the box and turn the necks. Recommend getting their expander mandrel as well. Results are fantastic.

I can only speak for the PMA. When I was new to neck turning I flipped a coin and bought the PMA. It is super easy to adjust and holds close tolerances. I think you will be happy with either choice.

The 21st Century lathe neck turner has worked well for my needs, no mater which one you get, use a carbide mandrel.
Jim

I've owned both: kept the mini-lathe from 21st century, but use it with the PMA neck turners. The PMA turners, both fixed and adjustable, are excellent.

21st Century...John builds great equipment, and he also gives back a lot to the shooters in terms of prizes at many matches each year. He shoots F-Class and is always looking to improve the sport. Great guy on top of everything else!
