PMA neck turner

I'm looking into getting a new neck turner and have read a few good reviews about the PMA but I've only found a few people that use it. I was wondering if I could get some input good or bad. Also any input about your own neck turner would be appreciated. Thanks

The PMA is comfortable in my hand which is nice when doing lots of brass at one time. Lots of easy adjustments if you have many different cartridges. PMA does sell a version for one caliber with one neck thickness so all you have to adjust is the length of the neck - i.e., 0.013" for a 308/30-06/etc.
Yes, carbide turning mandrels are available and cutters with different angles to account for different shoulders.

Best neck turner that I have ever used. PERIOD!
Model A is easily adjustable, Model B is preset to your specifications. I personally prefer carbide since it dosen't heat up and expand as fast as stainless. Just one less thing to worry about.
Any way you decide to go PMA is the best!

I'm sure the PMA is a fine neck turning tool, but if you can afford it try the 21st Century neck turning lathe and you will never look back.

Potatoe,
I have a number of neck turners, as a matter of a fact I will be doing a side by side comparison any day now, I haven't used the PMA much, but when I decided to play with it just to familiarize myself with it before I started my comparisons it only took me a few minutes to set it up and was turning necks, the instructions were the best of all turners I have and the feel was the second best I have ever used, Don Neilsons Pumpkin fit's my huge hands the best but the PMA is a outstanding tool from my initial analysis of it. If you only have one caliber to do you might check his B line out, I am definitely going to order two of them for my 6ppc. I currently own K&M, NT-4000, Pumpkin, 21st Century, and the model A PMA and like I said I will be doing a side by side test and will post my results on this site soon, just a side note, any one of the ones I own will do a good job of turning necks
Wayne.
