Plug bore before acetone soak?

Wanted to see what y’all prefer on plugging a barrel or not before acetone soak when cerakoting. Obviously plug chamber and muzzle before blast and coating but I’m having a hard time finding out whether an acetone soak may/may not harm anything on the bore of a barrel. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Since it will do nothing to the metal in your barrel except degrease it completely
This is why (esp for chromoly, but I do it for stainless as well) I run a lightly oiled (Remoil) patch down the bore right after Cerakote. I don't want to tempt any flash-rusting.
