please vote. accubonds or berger for bear?

Accubond at #2 Barnes at #1. Accubond is one of the best cup & core bullets but not THE best.

Accubonds. Go with the 140 in 6.5 but also try the ballistic tips in 140 6.5. You may also find that they fly about like the ballistic tips. They do in two guns I use. Same load and same impact points to 500 yards. That makes it possible to practice and kill coyotes with the cheaper Ballistic tips and kill big game with the accubonds.

Barnes TTSX, I have used the 2 you listed on deer and bear and TTSX hands down is the big hammer..
Accubonds would be second choice..

The smaller the caliber , the more important it is to use a bullet that wont come apart . I tend to use a much larger round than is needed . In a 338 class, It wouldnt matter, in a 6mm it would matter a lot ! Accubonds do fly great out of my 375 ruger , Bergers fly great out of my 338LM and my 340 wetherby .

depending on Black or griz, there have been a lot of bear taken with 30-30 and factory.

i have used hornady 150 rn in a 300sav to take black an they just drop,

also 165 nostler part in 300 wm on griz,

the fact is there are a lot of bullets that will do the job and there is a "fad" that says you got to have "this one" get any you want that is not a light jacket soft core and go. unless you are talking griz then partition or so.

neither for Pa black bear!
or both?
as I would limit your shooting to under 300yds with either of them.

let the 6.5x47 at home!
