please recommend rifle barrel machinist

Hello all, new member here with my first post/question...kind'a nervous.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a gunsmith machinist to chamber, contour, muzzle thread, gas port and maybe flutes for a Bartlein 6mm Ar-15 barrel. Preferably from the Accurate Shooter list of gunsmiths and not necessarily from the AR smiths. My AR build will be primarily target. Notwithstanding this will be my 1st build.
lots of detail missing I'm sure!

Thanks for both these suggestions. i will read as much as i can on both these smiths. I'm looking to build the most accurate AR I can, then again if I succeed i may have to hire someone to shoot it for me. i love the technology in this industry and might be the recipient of "accusatory speech" bullet polisher. I probably would have already purchased a bolt gun if the Ruger RPR was available. Since then shot the AR's and love them. Now just trying to counter the less precision in them compared to a bolt gun. I'm guessing the difference is ,all things being equal, the extra movement provided by the action.

Like was stated contact either John Scandale at Keystone accuracy, he can chamber it in 6mm hagar and or 240 tomahawk.
Also John Holinger at White Oak Precision can do 6mm hagar, and often has barrels in stock ready to ship.
And don't forget Frank White at Compass Lake Engineering.

These are probably the three premier smiths in the nation for accurate AR's.

Centerfire systems has the rpr in 6.5cm. Or they did a couple days ago a friend got one. He said theyre available in a lot of places including gander mtn, bass pro and cabelas

Compass Lake Engineering does excellent work. They have built two uppers for me with krieger barrels.

What kind of target shooting and what caliber are you going with? Is this an AR15 or AR10 based rifle?

I suppose these are the details that matter and would be the driving force in choosing a gun smith...maybe. The reason I want Bartlein barrel is for the left hand gain twist. My 1st choice of caliber is 6mmAR which seems to kill the deal for me because of the package deal. I don't want the extra work of fire forming even if by 2nd fired case achievement. I'd like to try F class open, some sort of tactical competition, and whitetail freezer filling.

Lee Wells does a 6mm Fatrat (like 6mm turbo 40) which does require a fireform step but firefoming is super easy and very accurate. Give him a call...nice guy my barrel I got from him shoots very well.
@Rtheurer can comment on the cartridge as well.

I think Robert Whitley would be worth considering. He's well versed on the various 6mm AR15 calibers and has a strong reputation. Another one worth mentioning is Derrick Martin; he's well accomplished in highpower and service rifles, and he knows the AR15 as well as anyone.

Just curious why a 40 degree shoulder re sizing die doesn't work?

Thank you for all contributors, I just can't get past the idea of going 6mmar, so looks like I might have to get my own reamer made.

In some older posts on other sites there was hope that R.W. would be selling barrels. Unless something has change I don't think he ever sold the reamers either.
