I used the wifes phone to take pics and send them to our email . Now what ?

Now save the pics into a picture file on the computer.
Then you should be able to attach them in your post

Now save them to your pictures from your email by clicking on the attachments (the pictures) go to save as click on then you can save them in my pictures

If you right click on the picture, it will prompt you to save it.

Get yourself an IPhone and you can take a picture and post it quicker than you can imagine.

I take them with my I-phone, get them on the big computer screen, and then just drag them to the post..

Do you have the “attach files” button at the bottom left? Use her phone of course if it is a smart phone or from the laptop.


When I add a photo I click on attach files, circled below in picture





Then I hit photo library and click on the photos I want to list and let them load

More information about devices you're using would be helpful. You may be having an issue with the size of the picture's file???

If you're using a Window 11 computer, when you open the email and download the picture the picture is sent to the download app. Open the download app and move the picture(s) to any file you like or leave it there. When you open the pic to view, it may be too large a file to post here. It reduce the size of the file, right click on the pick and select "Resize image". This resizing only changes the file size in megapixels, not the image itself. I like to resize my images from 3 Mps to .6 Mp or so (Mp = Megapixel).

With most phones you can copy and paste into the Forum.

But with some newer phones the images are WAY too large -- 3600 pixels or bigger.

Resize your photos to a maximum width 1000 pixels or less. Then simply copy and paste into the post, or use the "Attach Files" button.

On a desktop, open folder with the image, then simply drag an image into the thread post frame. This took 3 seconds to do that with a 600-pixel wide image:
