Please HELP - Is this a Reamer and for what use?

Can someone please help me identify what this is? I believe it is a Reamer but not sure for what purpose. Any help is appreciated.

I have a small Unimat lathe and it has a small wheel that looks like this for checkering metal in a cross hatch pattern.

It appears to be a center drill in a home made knob-handle. I would say flash hole deburr tool. I doubt the drill part would ream the flash hole. It is just part of the tool to guide the deburr.

I can't get a good idea of the size , is the tip black ? It could be a homemade holder with a diamond tipped stone facer

I can't Butch , sat on my new glasses , have to use my old pair for a week or so . Enlarging it on the I pad doesn't even help ! No machine shop for me this week .

Is that really a center drill in there? It just looks like the end of a reamer is mangled up to me i cant see the drill part and the flutes of the reamer line up with it

Same here. Looks like an amateur sharpened straight flute drill locked in a knurled piece of aluminum round stock for a handle.

Looks exactly like my K&M. It drills and deburs. I use it by hand. In the picture it looks like the tip is messed up. Matt

Matt, My K&M is a center drill. I can see it cleaning a flash hole, but not drilling anything, especially by finger power.

Download and blow up the photo. It doesn't look anything like a center drill. Alternatively, click on the "open in new window" icon in the upper right hand corner and then hit the magnifying glass icon.
