Plastic Tip Lengths

Anybody know what the plastic tip lengths are on Sierra BlitzKing, Nosler Varmaggedon and Hornady VMax .224 bullets? 40 to 55 grain weights.

I found some information online using ChatGPT, but it's obviously wrong, i.e. ChatGPT has the tip length at ~40% of the total length of the bullet

I'd say that's pretty close. You don't see the entire plastic tip. It has a small stem that protrudes further into the bullet.

As the original post creator, I decided to try to see if I could figure out where ChatGPT got it's "tip lengths" from. So I followed the references it provided............ and "tip length" isn't listed on the references. But.......it turned out that ChatGPT reported the Sectional Densities for the bullets as their "Tip Length"
