Plastic caps to protect crown on barrel

I currently have 5 barrels for my 6 br rifle. The barrels are all a straight taper 1.250. I'm looking for rubber or plastic caps to slide on the end of the barrel to protect the crown. I've found rubber caps online but am required to buy in bulk. Anyone know where I can purchase these in smaller quantities or does anyone have a better idea for protecting the crown? Thanks, Joe

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look for rubber pipe or leg caps like those on broken leg crutches. Work like a champ. i use them on all my barrels.

Go to walmart they sell little rubber caps that go on bottom of chair legs or canes . They work good they will fit.

Ace hardware has all sorts caps to choose from also.

I realize this thread is ancient but the desired product is called a Caplug. www.caplugs.com
The only problem is that they are hard to find in small quantities.
