Places to hunt near Charlotte North Carolina

Hi All going on a road trip down to Charlotte North Carolina and was just wondering do we still have ground hogs in that area of the country to hunt thanks

TO MANY COYOTES,KILL THEM I LIVE BOUT 60 MILES NORTH OF CHARLOTTE AND I HAVEN T KILLED A GROUND HOG IN YRS BUT I VE SEEN A COUPLE THIS YR HERE ON THE FARM BUT I HAVE TAKEN 10 COYOTES HERE

Same here in east TN. Only groundhogs I see are in town usually. The groundhogs, stray cats, little dogs disappear, deer herd and turkey numbers lessons = coyotes population getting larger.

Quite a bit of Game Management land a bit West of Charlotte NC. Located around Kings Mountain Battlefield.. National Forest and State Parks.. Esp in South Carolina
